Kaoru Furuko
 
Kaoru Furuko was born in 1983 in Hyogo, Japan, and studied art at both Universiti Sains Malaysia (Malaysia) and Osaka College of Art (Japan). Her main focus is on stop-motion animation, illustration and conceptual art using various forms of expression. Her work has been exhibited occasionally as well as entered international short film festivals.  She has a great interest in social and cultural phenomena, has travelled and lived in several countries where she has gained inspiration for her work. She currently resides in Sweden. The final product is “Striped Tiger and White Rabbit” (2009).
